The Port District owns and operates
the Pend Oreille Valley Railroad from Metaline Falls
to Newport, WA. The right-of-way varies in size throughout
this 61-mile stretch and many areas along the right-of-way
are available for use for business opportunities.

addition to right-of-way, the Port owns 12.8 acres
near Usk, WA. along Highway 20 that is available
for development.

Land along BNSF right-of-way from Newport, WA. to Dover,
ID. may be available for expansion as well. The Port
works in conjunction with BNSF land management personnel
regarding potential developments in this area.
